Rasaq Muhammed Adisa is a
lecturer in the department of Mass Communication, University
of Ilorin, Ilorin, Nigeria.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Science Degrees in Mass Communication
of the Bayero University Kano and University
of Lagos respectively and
Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE)
of the National Teachers’ Institute
Kaduna. Adisa was for over a decade a lecturer in the department of Mass
Communication Federal Polytechnic Offa. He has also had professional
relationship with Newspaper organizations in Nigeria. A resource person to the
International Institute of Journalism, Abuja and a member of professional
bodies which include, Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) and African
Council for Communication Education (ACCE).
Adisa has published two books and co-authored one on Newswriting and Reporting: A step-by-step
approach, Fundamentals of Newspaper/Magazine Editing and Production and
Essentials of Technical Paper Writing. He has also published in
reputable Journals and have attended and presented papers at conferences and
workshops. His major assignments are Teaching, research supervision,
examination marking and Supervision.
